El pasado 6 de Marzo el Indotel lanzó oficialmente su “Guía de Buenas Prácticas para el Comercio Electrónico” una recopilación de las informaciones necesarias para poder comercializar tus productos bajo las leyes y el sentido común que a veces no es tan obvio.
Para explorar la guía de la manera en que se merece, sin extendernos demasiado, dividiremos el post de la siguiente forma:

Si lo que buscas es una instrucción paso a paso para montar tu e-commerce esta guía puede no sea para tí, el objetivo real de esta herramienta es brindarte las nociones éticas y/o prácticas de una tienda virtual exitosa. Desde mostrarte cuáles son las herramientas que debes tener en cuenta, hasta los KPI’s o indicadores para saber si vas por buen camino ó que hace falta cambiar. Muchas veces creemos que con tan solo montar un carrito de compras y subir fotos de los productos ya está, pero luego la realidad siempre es otra. No es para que te intimides, pero el comercio electrónico puede ser complejo y se necesita de la colaboración de diferentes partes para que funcione, la buena noticia es que cada vez más las herramientas son más accesibles y sencillas de integrar unas, sin mencionar lo apremiante que es interactuar y servir a personas sin importar en qué parte del mundo estén.

A partir del Tema IV, cambia el enfoque e incluso la redacción del contenido, pasando de un conjunto de tips a ser una especie de Check list que si deseas puedes hasta imprimir. Abordando las diferentes categorías para que brindes una experiencia fluida y segura a tus clientes. Las áreas del checklist son:
1) Presencia en Internet
2) Marketing
3) Carro de Compras
4) Información Relevante
5) Proceso de Compras
6)Proceso de devolución
7)Comunicación con el cliente
8)Pagos.
Una vez tengas esa lista con sus checks podrás estar seguro que tendrás muchas de las bases cubiertas para empezar con el pie derecho.
KPI’s o indicadores
Un aporte significativo de esta guía es que nos muestra cómo medir el éxito del comercio online, cuáles variables a considerar dependiendo de los objetivos, qué indican estas variables y cuáles acciones tomar.
Muchos empresarios intentan medir un negocio en digital con la misma regla de un negocio físico, siendo dos universos totalmente paralelos, por lo que a mi parecer este es una de los temas más prácticos e importantes de la guía. Incluso en el vasto océano de información en el internet es difícil encontrar orientación clara y precisa sobre cómo medir el éxito de un e-commerce.

El INDOTEL ha hecho un excelente trabajo recopilando información valiosa y organizándola de forma clara, breve y sencilla, a modo que incluso personas sin previa experiencia puedan conocer los elementos necesarios para montar brindar una experiencia ética, responsable y fluida con sus clientes de cualquier parte del mundo.
